A fighter plane made for USA Air Force by Lockheed Martin .
This is a single seat single engine 5th generation multirole fighter plane .
It is a production of the joint strike fighter(JSF) Program .
This fighter took it's first flight on 15 December 2006.
It is one of the most expensive defense program of USA defense (about US$323 billion) .
The fighter has 3 main model .
It will be developed to perform both ground attack & air defense .
It will serve for USA navy, air force & marine corps & for the UK royal navy .
Probably the one version of the plane F-35C starts at 2009 ,another version F-35A will start at 2010 another version F-35B will start at 2012
